Migraines! Ouch! I, too, suffer frequent migraines...but have been much better since I discovered Imitrix. Do you know about Imitrix? If not--check it out with your Dr. It makes a huge difference in the number of non-functioning hours a month--a week--each day!

I love your six interesting facts about your-very-interesting self! I've been tagged...so I'm just doing some research...which may indicate one of my more frustrating/interesting things--can't be spontaneous! Have to research all avenues before I commit. How did THAT happen? Where is that young girl of old-who would jump into a lake fully dressed--throwing caution to the wind! Now, I worry about whether or not everything must be dry-cleaned (heaven forbid I should get dry clean only clothes soaking wet!) Not to mention--getting arrested for indecent exposure--as how indecent would it be for a middle-aged mom taking the plunge!

:0) Diane

My mom and my sister have the same sort of migraine relationship that you do. That's so strange because I always thought my family was just bizarre somehow. I know my sister's looking forward to the 40-year mark as well though. That's about when my mom's started decreasing, between 40 and 42 they took a drastic dive. Tons of family members have them too. Not quite in the same volume that you do. They usually have about two migraines a week, and some of them get those painless ones that cause them to lose their vision for a few hours, but I've never heard of 20-25 a month! I don't know, I've never had one, but they sounds painful and difficult.

Okay that was a long pointless story, but I really wish you the best with those migraines. I can't even imagine how hard it is to deal with that...

Thanks! Wow, you've had a hard time. That would scare the crap out of me to hit my face on a rock- I guess that shows I am too superficial :)

Next time we need to make of a list of happy things.

Ugh... so sorry about the migraines. Migraines AND insomnia? That's hell. Hope they do start to go away, SOON!

I scar easily, I would look like the Phantom of the Opera if that swimming incident had happened to me! I have scars everwhere -- including one under my left eye, where I was hit in the face with... a frisbee. That little accident got me out of gym class for the rest of my high school career.

I am with you on the really, really smart guys. Instead of being attracted to physical features, I first have to be drawn to a man's intellect.

Damn that Carlyle Lake! Poor you. But I tend to think that scars give one character. I never had anything that traumatic happen to me at Carlyle, though. However, there was a snake scare one year and (the way I remember it) my dad saved a woman from a snake in the lake.
