I have bizzaro dreams all the time (when I don't have insomnia, that is). The last one was, there was an impending nuclear attack on Baltimore (a-la "The Sum of All Fears"), and we were frantically packing to flee the city, and my fatass cat wouldn't go in his carrier, so I them both into a backpack, threw the pack over my shoulder, and... then I woke up.<br/><br/>I have had at least three variations on this dream, where it's a fire/flood/earthquake. Because they seem so real and normal while I'm having them, and often incorporate real people I've met (like ex-boyfriends, etc.), but the world they're in, though plausible, is different in both subtle and drastic ways. And then when I wake up I'm all like, what? Me, a quantum physicist? And I would NEVER go skiing with that annoying ex of mine from college!!!! I don't even know how to ski."
