But is it FRESH?

I don’t know if you can read the sign but it says “WE HAVE CHICKEN POOP.”
Friday I had a script filled at the Wal-greens in Crestwood. And I couldn’t resist taking a pic of this sign. (Camera phones come in kinda handy, yes?)
And in case you are wondering, they really DO have “Chicken Poop.” Apparently its some sort of ointment or lotion.
Which begs the question, would YOU buy Chicken Poop?
Dig if you will the picture…

I only buy chicken poop if its properly petrified.
BLEH! GROSS! The most shocking thing about that sign is that it’s NOT a joke or a typo. ICK!

It is very scary that it’s not a mistake.
But I thoroughly enjoyed it - thanks! LOL.

Now this here’s an excellent reason to have a camera handy at all times.
Mental note, avoid Walgreens in Crestwood. Where would you use this lotion or ointment? Or do I even want to know?

Oh my! Can I lie and say I don’t live here…lolol
Can you imagine saying to your husband, “Hey honey would you run to Walgreens and pick up some chicken poop?”
Jenn on 25 Apr 2006 at 2:25 pm #
HA! What is this ointment for, exactly?

I KNOW! I KNOW WHAT IT IS!!
I just happened to go to Walgreens yesterday because my youngest decided to stop riding a scooter via throwing himself arm and leg first onto the asphalt and we needed bandages. Many kinds of bandages.
At the checkout counter I see this box of stuff labeled CHICKEN POOP.
It’s called the “best lip balm” you’ll ever try. LIP BALM!!
I was horrified, too.

Your chicken poop sign made the 6:00 news tonight on channel 2….I couldn’t believe it when I heard it.

I’d be afraid of putting Chicken Poop on my skin, especially my face. Although I would be tempted to buy some, just so that I could whip a tube out the next time I’m on a crowded elevator and ask, “Chicken Poop, anyone?”
Interesting marketing tactic, that one.

I heard about this on the radio this morning. Apparently, the lady who came up with Chicken Poop grew up on a farm and when she’d complain about her lips hurting her, her father would say, “Let’s put some chicken poop on them so you’ll stop licking them dry.” Apparently she found a different formula to keep them from getting dry and named it Chicken Poop in honor of her father.
I’m embarrassed that I know this.
Great post, by the way. I also had the Blog Makeover Diva redo my site. Yours looks wonderful. She did a great job again.
