Baby birds! Cool!

When I was a kid, my dad raised and raced homing pigeons and the time of year when all the eggs hatched and there were itty bitty hungry little squabs everywhere was always my favorite. Enjoy this with Seth b/c it'll be over in a few weeks; maybe he'll remember it when he's older too!

It is such a great experience to watch baby birds grow =)

Where was this interest when they dug up the sewers up the street from our old house and we had that adorable family of rats move into the garage?

The birds get first class treatment, the rats... Well, we dont need to detail that. Tough double standards of the animal kingdom, what can ya do. In the immortal words of Quintus Horatius Flaccus, "Carpe Rodentum"... Sieze the rat.

Hooray! Bird babies!

And I'll bet she's already getting the nanny bird to watch the little ones while she spends 5 hours at the gym every day with her personal trainer, Sven.
