BFF
Upon moving into our super awesome neighborhood, Seth met Luke, his “bestest friend eb-er.” The boys get along famously. In fact, Luke refers to Seth as his “other brother that lives down the street.”
A few months ago, Luke got a cool Mustang convertible. The two of them have put many a mile on that little car already. Luke is always the driver and Seth is ever-content to enjoy the scenery.
The other day as Luke drove Seth to our house (with me walking behind) he asked, while wearing a most solomn look, if he could park his car in our garage. I had to stifle a giggle. How could I say no?
The way the two get into the car? Its like looking into the future. They’ve already perfected that 17-year-old “We’re two cool dudes with a car. Now let’s go find some chicks or trouble” swagger. I don’t know whether to be surprised or a little scared. (Or maybe a little bit of both.)
But there’s no denying that these two? Have some exciting adventures ahead of them.

These pictures are going to be worth millions when they’re older. Love them!
And the parking in the garage thing is just too cute. No parking on the street for this kid!

Who knew 5 was the new 17… cruising the neighborhood in a stylin’ ride…
I fear you’ll have you hands full when this one starts cruising for real, he seems so comfortable in the hotrod!

Those pictures made my morning. I started reading this post in Google Reader, which wasn’t loading the pictures, so at first I thought that Luke’s PARENTS had gotten a (real) Mustang convertible.
So adorable. the pictures, the fact that he asked if he could park his car in your garage, all of it. Totally made my morning!

These pictures, they scream “Scrapbook me!” What memories!
My six-year-old daughter wants one of those, but she picked out the little John Deere 4-wheeler, when I thought for sure she’d be all over the pink Barbie Jeep. Shows what I know.

This is absolutely adorable! My son has a little Jeep he drives all over. He once drove in his Jeep to the little drug store down the street with Gramma walking with him and parked in an actual parking spot with the rest of the cars. Everybody loved seeing that. We pulled our cars out of the garages and he had his own garage remote so he could ride around and then pull into the garage like a big kid. He loved it. That Jeeps’s gotta have some HIGH mileage
